Director, Investment Reporting & Analysis (Hybrid)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; other location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Hybrid schedule with in-office attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Salary: $159,000–$210,000 annually, plus potential eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Deliver timely, clear investment results and supporting analysis to company leadership.
• Align with internal stakeholders and external partners to improve the quality and insight of investment reporting.
• Own the single source of truth for investment results, including simplifying and rationalizing management reports.
• Manage investment asset budget cycles, ad hoc analysis of investment assets and derivatives, and stakeholder deliverables.
• Lead multiple teams, projects, resource prioritization, performance assessment, and major change initiatives.
• Serve as SOX process owner, oversee reporting errors and control deficiencies, and manage Statement of Work language with external vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
• At least 12 years of accounting or finance experience, including eight years of management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the assigned business area, such as investments, premiums, or corporate finance.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Effective oral and written communication with diverse audiences.
• Organizational and prioritization skills.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and financial business systems.

Nice to have

• CPA, CFA, and/or MBA.
• Experience storing and manipulating investment data using Excel pivot tables, Power BI, Hyperion Essbase Cubes, or similar tools.
