Senior Buyer (Nuclear)

Location: Round Rock, Texas, United States; onsite. Must be a U.S. Person.

Salary: $76,100–$92,000 annually.

What you will do

• Execute end-to-end procurement for complex, high-value materials, components, and services.
• Negotiate and administer complex purchase orders, agreements, change orders, and supplier requests for quotation.
• Drive supplier selection, conduct supplier site visits, monitor cost, quality, and delivery performance, and implement corrective actions.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies, receiving issues, and supplier disputes while maintaining complete procurement records.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and engineering to align procurement with program schedules and requirements.
• Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person due to the nature of work performed at the site.
• 2–6 years of relevant experience in a similar procurement role.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Demonstrated negotiation experience with measurable cost savings or value creation.
• Experience supporting complex programs or engineered products.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
