Working Student in the Area of Tool Development in Thermomechanics (Aerospace)

Location: Taufkirchen, Germany; partial home office option

What you will do

• Develop and improve tools for post-processing mechanical finite element analyses.
• Improve the in-house bolt justification tool.
• Support and develop tools for automated project management.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in Computational Mechanics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on programming.
• Have basic knowledge of structural mechanics and experience with software development using Git.
• Be proficient in Python and C++.
• Be able to organize, plan, and execute tasks independently.
• Demonstrate analytical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and strong communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with simulation tools such as ANSYS or Abaqus.
