Systems Engineer (MBSE)

What you will do

• Develop authoritative engineering models and digital architectures supporting government customers’ Model-Based Systems Engineering capabilities.
• Develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets for complex systems and systems of systems.
• Develop and manage verification and validation plans and procedures.
• Support interface management across engineering teams.
• Collaborate with engineers, software developers, external contractors, and government customers.
• Produce and present technical documentation and engineering artifacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering.
• Experience applying Systems Engineering principles and approaches to complex problems.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets for complex systems and systems of systems.
• Experience developing and managing verification and validation plans and procedures.
• Ability to support interface management activities across engineering teams.
• Knowledge of MBSE methodologies and tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams with internal staff, external contractors, and government customers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce and present technical documentation and artifacts.
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Systems Engineering.
• Knowledge of SysML for modeling architectures and system behaviors.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including Java, C++, or Python.
• Knowledge of aerospace and defense systems and processes.
• Knowledge of modeling and simulation tools and practices.
