Full-Stack Developer - Maternity Leave Replacement (8 months)

Location: Ramat Gan, Israel; temporary 8-month maternity leave replacement.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend functionality primarily with Python.
• Contribute to frontend development using React or similar modern frameworks.
• Develop features and solutions across multiple Algorithms to Applications projects.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and workflows, including reviewing and improving AI-generated code.
• Explore and integrate emerging technologies and convert ideas into working solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, Product Management, and stakeholders from technical design through delivery; participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of hands-on software development experience, including strong Python programming skills and solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or Cursor.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding workflows and the ability to review, validate, and improve AI-generated code.
• Good understanding of backend development concepts and application architecture.
• Ability to take ownership, deliver independently, learn quickly, adapt across technologies, and communicate clearly.

Nice to have

• Frontend development experience with React or a similar modern framework.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend communication.
• Experience with Git, Java, AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Experience building AI-powered applications, working with LLM APIs, or integrating AI capabilities into software products.
• Familiarity with agentic coding workflows and AI-driven development automation.
