QA Engineer – Regulatory Reporting (AI)

Location: Poland; hybrid work setup.

Annual gross base pay: zł117,000–zł228,000.

What you will do

• Design and execute functional and regression test cases for regulatory reporting logic, bug fixes, feature improvements, releases, and client hotfixes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product managers to validate requirements and implementation correctness.
• Build, upgrade, and maintain test environments and test data.
• Document test strategies, plans, and scenarios and maintain the test management system autonomously.
• Troubleshoot data transformation and reporting workflows to ensure timely and reliable client outcomes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, data engineering, or regulatory reporting.
• Practical understanding of generative AI and large language models, with hands-on experience applying AI tools such as Claude Code or similar to QA and automation tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret SQL queries and understand data flows and structures within reporting systems.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed environment.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Axiom ControllerView or a comparable regulatory reporting tool.
• Financial services or RegTech experience, including familiarity with Basel III/IV frameworks.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, or Python or Java scripting.
