TL QC Engineer with Playwright (QA Automation)

What you will do

• Define test plans, cases, scenarios, scope, priorities, and complex test data for grants and expert management systems.
• Validate user stories, acceptance criteria, business logic, dependencies, edge cases, and integrated workflows.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT, end-to-end, exploratory, static, dynamic, equivalence partitioning, and boundary value testing.
• Automate tests with Playwright and perform API testing with SoapUI and Postman, validating requests, responses, status codes, and business logic.
• Validate backend data with SQL, analyze application logs with Kibana and Elasticsearch, and support debugging and root-cause investigations.
• Document test evidence and manage tests and defects in Jira and Zephyr while collaborating with business analysts, developers, and support teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s-level university degree or equivalent and 17+ years of professional IT experience.
• Strong software testing and test design experience, including functional, regression, integration, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with Jira and Zephyr for test and defect management.
• Experience with Playwright for automated test scripting and execution.
• Strong API testing experience with SoapUI and Postman.
• Experience validating XML and structured data using XML Notepad, Notepad++, or similar tools.
• Strong SQL skills, including Oracle SQL Developer and complex queries for test data preparation and backend validation.
• Experience with Kibana and Elasticsearch for log analysis, debugging, and root-cause investigation.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and iterative and sequential SDLC/STLC approaches, plus a good understanding of grants and audit business processes.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT or Generative AI for test-case optimization; strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
• English or French proficiency at B2 level or higher.
