Test Automation Engineer

Location: Poland; remote work available, with the office as an optional arrangement.

What you will do

• Develop test plans based on project requirements, specifications, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder-defined testing objectives.
• Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases covering scenarios, edge cases, user workflows, regression testing, and software functionality.
• Identify automation opportunities, implement test automation frameworks, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Log, prioritize, reproduce, investigate, and track defects in collaboration with development teams.
• Conduct performance testing, identify bottlenecks, and provide quality feedback and improvement recommendations.
• Document test plans, test cases, and testing processes while contributing to continuous QA process improvement.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience with SQL, databases, and ETL.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, including Jira, TestLink, Azure DevOps Test Plans, Postman, or SoapUI.
• Experience with Git, including the ability to create a test framework.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and technologies.
• English at least B2.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure and Databricks.
• Familiarity with AI toolsets.
• Experience with automated testing using Python and pytest.
• QA experience with data solutions, including understanding ETL concepts and testing data correctness.
• Understanding of data solution technologies such as Azure, AWS, and Fabric.
