Assistant Controller (Accounting & Finance)

Location: Hybrid role at 1200 Technology Way, Libertyville, Illinois, United States.

hirify.global operates the Foundry organization supported by its Shared Services Accounting & Finance department.

What you will do

• Lead month-end close activities, including journal-entry reviews, variance analysis, balance-sheet reconciliations, audit schedules, and distribution of Foundry financial statements.
• Partner with Financial Reporting leadership to ensure accurate revenue, cost of sales, and inventory balances.
• Support profitability analysis, monthly forecasting, and annual budgeting for Foundry.
• Maintain controls over inventory and other assets at the Foundry facility.
• Lead the annual audit and direct staff, while managing treasury activities and weekly cash forecasting.
• Review the adequacy of the accounts-receivable allowance and recommend write-offs; complete special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Ability to interface effectively with management across functions.
• Ability to perform other assigned duties.
