Graphic Designer, Staff

Location: Onsite in Washington, Washington, DC, United States. Applicants must currently reside in the United States.

Salary: USD $75,421–$113,131 per year.

What you will do

• Create graphic design products for print, digital, presentation, and multimedia applications.
• Develop FINTEL products, logos, publications, presentations, visual communications, and mission-support materials.
• Apply typography, hierarchy, composition, color, visual balance, branding, and messaging standards.
• Design accessible products in accordance with Section 508 requirements and support multimedia and potentially video development.
• Facilitate client-facing discussions, translate requirements and complex analytical concepts into effective visual products, and present data clearly.
• Collaborate with designers, government stakeholders, analysts, leadership, and cross-functional professionals while managing multiple assignments, reviews, feedback, quality, and schedules.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of graphic design experience across print, digital, and multimedia products.
• Experience designing products that comply with Section 508 accessibility standards.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience facilitating client-facing discussions, translating requirements into visual products, and presenting data, workforce messaging, or analytical concepts visually.
• A portfolio demonstrating broad design work and creative solutions to complex communication challenges.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, define requirements, and deliver outcomes aligned with mission-focused objectives.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience relevant to the labor category, including some experience completed within the last 2 years.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting intelligence analysts, senior leaders, or executive-level staff with tailored graphic design solutions.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe XD, or MAPublisher.
• Experience supporting government or defense-sector clients.
• Knowledge of Department of Defense or Intelligence Community processes, standards, and requirements.
• Experience establishing expectations, defining project timelines, and delivering high-quality products with minimal oversight.
• Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and client-service skills.
