Risk Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Fully remote for candidates based within four hours of Dubai time; individual relocation plans may be discussed for hubs in Armenia, Georgia, Serbia, Poland, and Spain.

What you will do

• Analyze portfolio performance, customer behavior, and key risk indicators across products and segments.
• Use big data analytics to identify risk patterns and insights.
• Develop reports and dashboards to monitor risk metrics and performance, and present insights to leadership.
• Optimize risk strategies and policies to support sustainable growth.
• Contribute to designing and rolling out new products and policies.
• Collaborate with data, product, and engineering teams on launches in new markets and verticals while improving risk management practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in risk management, fraud analytics, or a related data-driven role, preferably in fintech or related financial services.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with SQL, Python, or similar tools.
• Understanding of consumer lending, digital wallets, transfers, and fintech risk models.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
