Spacecraft Data & Software Engineer (m/f/d) (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain software products supporting the satellite reference database and spacecraft engineering data.
• Work with Oracle Database, Java, Oracle APEX, Oracle ADF, and modern web technologies.
• Improve tooling, evaluate new frameworks and technologies, and increase automation across the engineering toolchain.
• Enhance data-entry applications using tools such as MS Excel to interact with the database.
• Support and streamline automated data exchange interfaces with customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with spacecraft engineers, software developers, and mission operations specialists in an international multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• Familiarity with databases and modelling technologies.
• Experience developing web applications.
• Experience with XSD, XML, or other structured exchange formats, or willingness to acquire the relevant skills on the job.
• Willingness to work in an international team.

Nice to have

• Experience with SCOS MIB, EGS-CC, and ECSS standards.
