Vulnerability & Patch Management (Associate) Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid, with work from home, the client, or the Brussels office at Boulevard de Waterloolaan 16, 1000 Brussels, Belgium.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end vulnerability lifecycle, from discovery and prioritization through remediation and verification, primarily across GCP and then AWS environments.
• Operate and optimize the enterprise Vulnerability & Patch platform for vulnerability scanning, asset discovery, and exposure management.
• Lead risk-based vulnerability prioritization using Tenable One analytics and exposure scoring.
• Design, coordinate, and oversee patch management processes while balancing security requirements with high-uptime trading environment availability.
• Track remediation SLAs, report on risk exposure, and drive timely closure with system and application owners.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud teams, support audits, monitor emerging threats and CVEs, and improve security policies and standards.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of cybersecurity experience with a strong focus on vulnerability and patch management.
• Hands-on expertise with Tenable One, or strong Tenable.io, Tenable.sc, or Nessus experience with willingness to transition.
• Solid understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking, and common attack vectors.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and stakeholder-communication skills.

Nice to have

• ISO 27001 knowledge or certification, such as Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor.
• Google Cloud Platform certification, such as Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
• Experience in critical infrastructure, energy, or other highly regulated or high-availability sectors.
