Technical Engineering Team Lead (Gas Services)

What you will do

• Manage, lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to the technical engineering team within the Sales Distributed division.
• Design and execute onboarding and training programs, establish performance expectations, and support the integration of new technical engineers.
• Act as the single point of contact for technical queries and coordinate interfaces with PCC Application Engineers.
• Collaborate with sales operations and regional sales teams to align technical offerings with customer requirements.
• Review technical scopes for proposals and solutions across service lines, assessing accuracy, feasibility, and risk.
• Analyze post-outage reports, capture lessons learned, support outage planning, and integrate Modernization & Upgrade solutions into the service portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• 6–8 years of experience in gas services, power generation, or technical sales engineering, including at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead capacity.
• Experience managing technical interfaces, outage planning, and modernization projects within the Middle East region.
• PMP or equivalent certification, or CMRP or equivalent certification.
• Expertise in team leadership, mentoring, technical onboarding and training, and performance management.
• Expertise in gas turbine and power generation technology, outage planning and execution, modernization and upgrade integration, technical scope review, and risk assessment.
• Strong skills in cross-functional stakeholder management, technical interface management, and technical problem solving.
