Quantity Surveying Manager

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; onsite role supporting airport, engineering, corporate infrastructure, and other live operational projects.

What you will do

• Lead multiple capital projects, refurbishment programs, fit-out works, and asset enhancement initiatives from feasibility through closeout.
• Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and stakeholder management plans.
• Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, budget forecasts, and lifecycle cost plans.
• Administer FIDIC and bespoke contracts, including change control, variations, claims, extensions of time, and final account settlements.
• Support procurement and tendering through scopes of work, Bills of Quantities, RFPs, and commercial evaluations.
• Coordinate with project teams, internal business units, airport operators, landlords, regulatory authorities, and senior leadership while reviewing designs and ensuring compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management.
• At least 7 years of experience in project management and quantity surveying, including at least 5 years managing complex projects.
• Experience in aviation, commercial, hospitality, infrastructure, or live operational environments.
• Advanced proficiency in project planning and control using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Basic capability to review AutoCAD drawings.
• Advanced knowledge of QS software such as CostX or an equivalent.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to ensure compliance with UAE regulations, aviation industry requirements, international standards, and corporate HSE policies.

• Professional certification such as MRICS, PMP, CIOB, or AACE.
