Director, Corporate Development: M&A Integration & Operations (Remote)

Location: USA - Remote

Base salary: $155,000–$240,000 per year for U.S. candidates, plus eligibility for bonuses, equity grants, health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional diligence workstreams, evaluate organizational fit and operational readiness, identify integration risks, and synthesize recommendations for deal leads.
• Own acquisition integration from late-stage diligence through steady state, including change management, employee retention planning, organizational transition, milestones, risks, and decision points.
• Partner with GTM Operations on commercial integration, including customer transition, contract migration, sales coverage, GTM systems, customer success handoff, and field execution.
• Track integration KPIs and synergy realization, report progress and risks to deal sponsors and executive leadership, and run integration retrospectives.
• Build corporate development infrastructure including diligence templates, integration playbooks, governance processes, data tools, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Support the Falcon Fund portfolio through QBRs, partnership coordination, financial reporting oversight, strategic alignment, and portfolio updates.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in corporate development, hands-on M&A integration, or technology-focused management consulting.
• Track record leading end-to-end M&A integrations across acqui-hires, platform acquisitions, asset purchases, and mergers.
• Strong program management skills and the ability to keep complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams on track without direct authority.
• Clear, concise communication with executives, functional partners, founders, and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to build a function from scratch and define processes where no playbook exists.
• Familiarity with data and AI tools and interest in building efficient, instrumented ways of working.
• Background in software, cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS, including commercial integration activities.
• Experience coordinating with GTM and sales operations teams on enterprise go-to-market integration.
• Experience managing or monitoring a portfolio of strategic investments.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.

• Prior experience leading integrations and identifying common breakdowns.
• Comfort participating in executive steering committees, founder transition conversations, and detailed workstream reviews.
• Ability to identify integration risks during diligence and translate deal rationale into practical execution plans.
