Senior Insider Threat Investigator

Location: Remote; work location in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, United States of America, with other listed locations in Jacksonville, Florida; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Portland, Maine. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm EST. Occasional domestic travel is required.

Salary: $72,280-$117,520 USD per year.

What you will do

• Lead the full lifecycle of insider-threat, cybercrime, criminal, and non-criminal investigations, from initial research and analysis through interviewing and final reporting.
• Collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence from computers, laptops, phones, tablets, databases, and other electronic systems.
• Identify and prioritize reported incidents, minimize potential losses, and support asset recovery through collaboration with financial institutions, law enforcement, and judicial-system partners.
• Identify procedural weaknesses, establish remediation actions, and develop procedures, standards, advice, and education for employees.
• Analyze criminal and industry risk trends, emerging technology threats, regulatory developments, and program effectiveness.
• Lead projects and complex problem resolution, build stakeholder alignment, guide others, and support planning, budgeting, reporting, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of bank products, systems, policies, and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of criminal investigative techniques, laws governing evidence collection, court proceedings, and financial and criminal trends.
• Expertise in the relevant specialty and working knowledge of broader related areas.
• Ability to represent the bank in court proceedings and work with law enforcement, legal, HR, Employment Standards, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as a senior technical lead, guide others, interpret policies and analysis, manage confidential information, and resolve complex issues.
• Ability to collect, preserve, and analyze digital evidence and use investigative methodologies effectively.
