Senior Manager – Screening Development & Analytics (Financial Crime)

Location: Birmingham, UK. Hybrid working with at least two days per week at the Birmingham office.

Salary: £85,493–£100,580 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the development, implementation and optimisation of sanctions and Politically Exposed Persons screening capabilities.
• Establish analytics, performance intelligence and data-led insights to improve control effectiveness, customer outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Lead major transformation, technology and automation initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring benefits are delivered.
• Improve automation, screening effectiveness, decision quality, false-positive reduction and operational performance.
• Enhance screening controls and continuous improvement in response to incidents, audits, assurance reviews, regulatory feedback and emerging risks.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Payments, Technology, Operations, Risk, Policy, Oversight and Business Units, while building high-performing teams and supplier partnerships.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Financial Crime Screening controls within a UK financial services environment.
• Proven experience leading large-scale transformation, technology delivery and control development initiatives.
• Significant experience delivering automation, optimisation and operational improvement outcomes.
• Strong analytical capability using data, performance intelligence and insight to improve business and customer outcomes.
• Demonstrated success leading complex delivery across matrix organisations and influencing senior stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes.
• Strong people leadership experience, including building capability, developing talent and creating high-performing teams.
