AI Software Engineer Intern

Location: On-site in Shanghai, China; additional locations in Beijing and Shenzhen, China. Shift 1 (China).

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize AI software solutions, including algorithms, frameworks, and architectures.
• Implement and fine-tune deep learning models to improve accuracy and performance.
• Explore model compression techniques, including quantization and pruning, to improve system efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop scalable AI solutions for system-level deployment.
• Conduct applied research supporting AI methodology improvements and hardware-software integration.
• Document technical findings and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 0–1 years of hands-on domain experience gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training; or a Master's degree in a relevant field with no prior professional experience.
• Proficiency in Python or C++ for AI software development and debugging.
• Solid understanding of deep learning fundamentals, including large language models.
• Familiarity with model compression techniques such as quantization and pruning.
• Knowledge of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
