Pricing Manager (Fintech)

Location: São Paulo, Brazil; hybrid work with at least 3 days in the office and some travel expected.

What you will do

• Manage cross-functional initiatives supporting the economic model for payment products, services, and the global payments processing network.
• Evaluate pricing change opportunities through forecasting, business case development, stakeholder impact assessment, and partner communications.
• Develop Brazil country strategies covering pricing and interchange rates for existing and new products, merchant segments, and channels.
• Query large databases, use hirify.globalNet data, and build financial cost-benefit models to assess impacts on issuers, acquirers, merchants, and the business.
• Prepare executive-level communications, recommendations, pricing publications, dashboards, and performance reports.
• Coordinate with global systems and interchange compliance teams on business requirements, systems development, and correct client qualification for interchange rates.

Requirements

• 4 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 2 years of work experience with an advanced degree such as a Master's, MBA, JD, or MD, or a PhD degree.
• Bilingual English and Portuguese proficiency is required.
• Ability to independently develop content, prioritize workflows, manage projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to participate in complex cross-enterprise projects involving stakeholders at senior and junior levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to structure and analyze sophisticated financial models.
• Ability to work with economic theories, scenario analysis, and competitive assessments.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, leadership, influencing, collaboration, diplomacy, and writing skills.
• Ability to work as a self-starter and contribute as a flexible, team-oriented, and collaborative professional.

Nice to have

• MBA or relevant graduate degree in finance or economics, or similar academic or professional experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, pricing, banking, or finance.
• Experience in or significant exposure to the payments industry.
• Knowledge of payments industry revenue drivers.
