TL;DR
Financial Analyst I – FP&A IPS Latin America (Financial Analysis/FP&A): Supporting forecasting, budgeting, reporting, accounting, and financial planning for Latin American manufacturing operations with an accent on sales analysis, inventory oversight, and compliance. Focus on developing financial models and Power BI reporting, standardizing processes, analyzing operational metrics, and supporting internal controls under US GAAP and SOX requirements.

What you will do

  • Support monthly sales forecasting, planning, budgeting, and analysis of financial performance against forecasts, budgets, and prior-year results.
  • Support monthly close activities and monthly and quarterly financial reporting in accordance with legal requirements, local accounting standards, and US GAAP.
  • Prepare weekly sales, order entry, and backlog reports and monitor sales growth, working capital, DSI, DSO, inventory, and capital expenditures.
  • Develop financial models, Power BI reports, and standardized accounting policies, procedures, processes, and reporting systems.
  • Support internal controls, SOX compliance, external audit coordination, inventory valuation, accuracy, depreciation, and write-offs.
  • Collaborate with sales, division management, controllers, Treasury, Tax, Financial Reporting, and other cross-functional teams on operational improvements, cost efficiencies, and global and regional initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting or financial analysis/planning.
  • Microsoft Office experience, including advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of general ledger and ERP systems, including experience with ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and implement process improvements through automation and standardization.
  • Ability to anticipate and independently plan work, with excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a flexible environment and consistently meet deadlines.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a global manufacturing environment.
  • CPA and/or MBA.
  • International exposure and foreign language fluency.
