Senior Technical Delivery Manager (Web & Cloud Platforms)

Location: Onsite at 1 Mount Pleasant, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Travel requirements: up to 10%.

What you will do

• Build, lead, and grow high-performance engineering and delivery teams, including managers and technical leads.
• Own the strategy and roadmap for Web, Services, Middleware, and Cloud Native platforms.
• Deliver large technology programs end to end, on time, on budget, and against defined KPIs.
• Oversee architecture, integration, APIs, microservices, GraphQL, code quality, and cloud-native migrations.
• Lead DevOps automation, cost control, secure authentication and SSO integration with security and identity teams.
• Own operational excellence across availability, SLOs, incident management, monitoring, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and technical delivery, including 5+ years leading engineering teams and 3+ years managing managers or multiple squads.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP, including PaaS, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Experience building and leading high-performance engineering teams, including managing managers, in an enterprise environment.
• Strong expertise with React, Angular, or Vue; Node.js or Java/Spring Boot; backend services, APIs, microservices, and middleware.
• Knowledge of API gateways, messaging, event streaming, ESB, iPaaS, GraphQL, and REST.
• Mature DevOps and SRE practice covering CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, SLOs, and incident management.
• Strong leadership in Agile delivery at scale and a record of shipping quickly without compromising quality or stability.
• Data-driven, KPI-focused approach using 5-why analysis, A/B testing, and performance benchmarking; ability to balance innovation, stability, cost, and risk.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; excellent communication, senior-leadership influence, curiosity, creativity, and bias for action.
• Proven delivery and operation of web, services, middleware, and cloud-native solutions at enterprise scale, with measurable improvements in reliability, performance, and cost.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or Auth0.
• Experience implementing SSO and identity federation with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Familiarity with CIAM, MFA, and zero-trust security models.
• Cloud architect, Kubernetes CKA/CKAD, or SAFe certification.
