Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Kubernetes)

Location: Canada

Base salary: 102,500–184,500 CAD/year

What you will do

• Lead test framework architecture and build continuous execution pipelines for cloud platform features.
• Help shape the automated quality engineering roadmap with developers and product stakeholders.
• Establish test automation standards and share testing domain knowledge.
• Mentor junior engineers and partner with engineering leadership to improve continuous delivery stability and release confidence.

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Expertise building test frameworks with Python and Pytest.
• Deep experience testing high-availability and fault-tolerant Kubernetes services, containers, and cloud-native technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of networking protocols, Linux systems, and continuous delivery tools.
• Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems and basic security principles.
• Experience using CI/CD tools to support good software development practices.
