Founding Content Leader (AI Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end content engine, including the editorial calendar and recurring content series across LinkedIn, blogs, video, and long-form formats.
• Develop SEO and AEO strategies and connect content performance to pipeline, meetings, and revenue outcomes.
• Write top- and middle-of-funnel blogs, ebooks, whitepapers, social posts, and other thought-leadership materials.
• Ghostwrite for the CEO, CTO, and technical leaders by capturing their perspectives through interviews, Slack, call notes, and research briefs.
• Package research, threat findings, and product insight into original analysis, flagship reports, and rapid-response security content.
• Use AI, contractors, and workflow systems to increase production speed while maintaining accuracy, editorial quality, and voice.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in content roles in B2B technology, with cybersecurity strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated results from content, including content-sourced pipeline, organic traffic and rankings, and engagement that converted into meetings.
• Experience serving as the primary content engine at a small company, shipping weekly without a large team, budget, or pre-existing strategy.
• Excellent writing and editorial judgment, with the ability to develop a point of view and explain complex security topics clearly and credibly.
• Proven executive ghostwriting experience and a repeatable system for capturing executive voice.
• Fluency with AI in practical content work, including the ability to explain a workflow, where it failed, and how it was improved.

Nice to have

• Experience packaging threat reports, benchmarks, or original research that earned attention.
• Experience managing SEO through agencies or contractors and a clear point of view on AEO.
• Ability to produce short video, explainers, or visual assets, or to direct contractors producing them.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management, exposure management, AppSec, or CloudSec.
