Program Manager, Data Transformation

Salary: $147,900–$174,000 (Region 3), $158,950–$187,000 (Region 2), or $172,550–$203,000 (Region 1) per year, depending on U.S. location and market tier.

What you will do

• Move business metrics from informal tracking to certified definitions with accountable owners, documented lineage, and controls.
• Maintain metric ownership and approver assignments, triage incoming data requests, and route operational work to the appropriate teams.
• Run structured intake, prioritization, cross-functional programs, sprints, and delivery cadences across Data Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Hardware, and IT.
• Track plans, data issues, and metric regressions through resolution, supporting internal and external audit documentation.
• Report program progress and data health to senior leaders and drive adoption of standardized metric definitions.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in program management, technical program management, or business operations, including support for data, analytics, or operations teams.
• Experience running cross-functional programs with many stakeholders and competing priorities without formal authority.
• Experience with metric governance or controls, including definitions, ownership, documentation, and formal sign-off.
• Working knowledge of Databricks or a similar lakehouse; ability to navigate a catalog, read SQL or a data model, and spot-check metrics against source tables.
• Working understanding of data pipelines and transformation layers such as dbt or equivalent, including tracing lineage from source system to reported metric.
• Experience defining data-quality validation tests, reading test results, and tracing failures to root cause.
• Ability to enforce processes with senior stakeholders while maintaining effective relationships.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and running sprints or lightweight agile cadences.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including status reporting for senior audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware, manufacturing, quality, logistics, sourcing, or supply planning.
• Background in consumer hardware, wearables, medical devices, or another regulated hardware business.
• Exposure to financial reporting, SOX-style controls, audit preparation, or IPO readiness.
• Experience at a high-growth or pre-IPO company.
• Experience working with distributed teams across U.S. and European time zones.
• Comfort using modern AI tooling for analysis, documentation, and reporting.
