hirify.global is a pharmaceutical company conducting research and development in neuroscience and central nervous system drug discovery.
What you will do
Design, execute, interpret, and report in vitro and in vivo experiments supporting CNS drug discovery.
Establish cell-based model systems and contribute to high-throughput screening, immunoassays, biochemical analysis, and immunohistochemical tissue analysis.
Develop, execute, and troubleshoot assays, protocols, and imaging methods.
Communicate experimental data clearly to teams and stakeholders and critically interpret published research.
Collaborate with medicinal chemistry, in vivo and in vitro pharmacology, genetics, and other functional areas.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a BS, BA, MA, or PhD program in biological sciences or a related discipline such as biology, chemistry, pharmacy, or a health-related field.
Completed at least two years toward the degree program by June 2026.
Available to work full-time for six months beginning in early to mid-2027.
Theoretical knowledge of at least two of the following: molecular biology techniques, biochemistry, cell culture, neuroscience, functional neuroanatomy, pharmacology, toxicology, fluorescence microscopy, electrophysiology, cell biology, or neurological diseases.
Hands-on experience with basic biology or chemistry laboratory procedures and at least some of the following: patch-clamp electrophysiology, Western blot, ELISA or biochemical assays, PCR, sterile mammalian cell culture, primary neuron culture, human stem cells/iPSCs, calcium imaging, or in vivo work. Candidates with a strong interest and demonstrated ability to learn these techniques may also be considered.
Strong desire to develop knowledge of neuroscience drug discovery and work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Demonstrated ability to perform accurate data collection and analysis and present results.
Nice to have
Previous neuroscience, biochemistry, or molecular biology coursework.
