Executive Director CIDO Business Operations & Enterprise Portfolio Excellence (AI)

Location: Rahway, New Jersey, United States; hybrid work arrangement. The posting is for United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico residents.

Base salary: $255,800–$402,700 per year, plus annual bonus and long-term incentive if applicable.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise IT operations and govern the global technology investment portfolio through demand intake, business-case validation, prioritization, phase-gating, capacity planning, and value realization.
• Track portfolio interdependencies, budget variances, delivery risks, benefits, and ROI, establishing mitigation playbooks and executive escalation paths.
• Partner with Finance on FinOps and Technology Business Management, including total cost of ownership, unit economics, cloud cost optimization, and run-versus-grow optimization.
• Govern preferred technology vendors, software licensing and SaaS portfolios, systems integrators, and workforce ecosystems with Supplier Management.
• Design IT performance dashboards, reporting agents, and balanced scorecards covering operational KPIs, service performance, costs, availability, deployment frequency, and strategic OKRs.
• Orchestrate the CIDO operating rhythm, including operational reviews, leadership meetings, QBRs, deep dives, and concise executive reporting.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of progressive leadership experience across IT strategy, technology business operations, enterprise PMO or portfolio management, IT financial operations, or management consulting in large-scale, matrixed environments.
• Demonstrated experience governing and optimizing technology portfolios across federated business units, global cost centers, and/or complex global consulting accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, accounting, information systems, finance, operations management, or a related field.
• Expertise in ITIL v4, Lean or Six Sigma, OKRs, Agile portfolio frameworks such as SAFe or Lean Portfolio Management, and cloud FinOps principles.
• Ability to build automated performance dashboards, establish operational KPIs, and translate complex financial and operational data into actionable decisions.
• Experience with IT platforms such as Apptio Target Process, SAP, Power BI, and Jira.
• Extensive experience presenting strategy, financial business cases, and operational reviews to C-level executives, board committees, and divisional presidents.
• Enterprise thinking, operational rigor, a transformation mindset, executive influence, and the ability to align multifunctional delivery teams.
