Principal Contract Analyst (Clinical)

Location: Remote; virtual role based in Minnesota, United States of America

Salary: $97,000–$165,000 USD annually for U.S. locations excluding Puerto Rico; $107,000–$183,000 USD for California, Seattle, Washington DC, Boston, and New York City locations

What you will do

• Administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts.
• Lead proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities in line with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
• Review estimates, material and equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare bids, specifications, progress reports, and other reports; advise management on contractual rights and obligations.
• Compile and analyze contract data, maintain historical information, and develop process, system, or product improvements.
• Communicate with internal and external customers and vendors, coach and review lower-level specialists, and manage projects or processes spanning multiple job areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 6+ years of contracts or regulatory-relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree and 4+ years of contracts or regulatory-relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently with considerable latitude and limited oversight.
• Ability to develop solutions to moderately complex problems and make moderate to significant improvements to processes, systems, or products.
• Ability to communicate with internal and external customers and vendors at various organizational levels.

Nice to have

• Previous contracts analyst experience with a medical device company.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills in a highly matrixed organization.
• Previous team lead or mentorship experience.
