PeopleSoft Administrator (OCI)

What you will do

• Install, configure, verify, and administer PeopleSoft environments with Oracle 12c/18c/19c databases on Linux.
• Configure WebLogic, Tuxedo, COBOL, Fluid UI, Elasticsearch, Oracle RAC, high-availability clusters, PIA, PeopleSoft Portal, file servers, web servers, application servers, process scheduler domains, and PeopleBooks.
• Support PeopleTools and PeopleSoft application upgrades, including PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrades, non-production administration, development, testing, and UAT environments.
• Administer Integration Broker and LDAP-based Single Sign-On, and restore Oracle databases from RMAN backups.
• Support OCI deployments and migrations, including Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, Networking, Load Balancers, IAM, database migration, file-system migration, and application-tier migration.
• Collaborate daily with the Astute US team and customer stakeholders to complete tasks within established timelines.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in PeopleSoft administration and related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft installation, administration, configuration, performance tuning, virtualization technologies, and Oracle Cloud deployments.
• Experience with Oracle databases, database administration, RMAN, Data Pump, Oracle RAC, and high-availability clusters.
• Experience with PeopleTools technologies including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Security, Integration Broker, LDAP Single Sign-On, and PeopleSoft Portal.
• Hands-on OCI experience with Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, Networking, Load Balancers, IAM, and OCI architecture for Lift-and-Shift, re-platforming, and hybrid deployments.
• Experience migrating on-premise PeopleSoft environments to OCI, including database, file-system, and application-tier migration.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical, judgment, verbal, written, and consulting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment under established timelines.
• An Engineering degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with OCI Database Services, including Base Database, Exadata Cloud Service, and Autonomous Database.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or OCI Resource Manager.
• Extensive exposure to large-scale US/UK clients and DBA knowledge.
• UNIX scripting experience.
• OCI certification.
