Senior Data Engineer Consultant

Location: Hybrid in Maastricht, Netherlands, with work from the office, home, and client sites.

What you will do

• Represent hirify.global at professional events and contribute to thought leadership through articles, white papers, and webinars.
• Drive business development by preparing proposals, identifying collaboration opportunities, and developing long-term client relationships.
• Manage client engagements as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for middle and senior-level management.
• Supervise and mentor junior to medior consultants, review deliverables, and support their technical and interpersonal development.
• Guide stakeholders and project teams through delivery while communicating complex technical ideas to varied audiences.

Requirements

• Completed Master's degree in Data Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, (Energy) Engineering, or a related technical field involving substantial programming.
• 3–6 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent academic research.
• Experience or interest in Data Engineering and relevant sectors such as Energy and Finance.
• Strong analytical mindset with systematic problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics and the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas.
• Strong communication, presentation, adaptability, and entrepreneurial skills.
• Analytical, structured, and proactive working approach; effective stakeholder management and team guidance abilities.
• Fluency in English, Dutch, or French fluency is a must.
• Availability to work in the hybrid arrangement in Maastricht, Netherlands; a work permit cannot be provided.
