Operations Securities Manager - Corporate Actions (m/f/x)

What you will do

• Own daily reconciliation, settlement, and securities transaction processes in the corporate actions domain.
• Design scalable processes, identify optimization opportunities, prioritize improvements, and eliminate operational risks and control gaps.
• Supervise, guide, and mentor team members below your level while maintaining high quality standards.
• Analyze complex corporate action events by identifying patterns, correlating data, and investigating operational issues.
• Communicate with external partners and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and support business growth.

Requirements

• Completed banking apprenticeship or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent qualification.
• Initial professional experience in securities services, brokerage, or asset management; prior middle- or back-office experience in a bank is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of securities trading, general banking operations, and financial operations.
• Deep understanding of corporate actions and related banking processes.
• Proficiency in WM-Daten and Clearstream Xact.
• Analytical and solution-oriented approach with the ability to detect and resolve operational issues.
• Ability to prioritize urgent tasks, execute strategically, proactively escalate critical topics, and meet strict daily cut-offs in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for professional collaboration with external partners.
• Fluency in German and English, written and spoken.
