Internship in Corporate Actions & Income Processing CH (9-month fixed-term contract)

Location: Bioggio, Canton Ticino, Switzerland; hybrid and flexible working available.

What you will do

• Analyze introductory MT564 and MT568 SWIFT messages from custodians and identify key elements relevant to corporate actions processing.
• Assist with setting up standard and low-risk corporate action event types using predefined procedures.
• Draft notifications in various languages for bank end-clients regarding elective corporate action events, using templates and working under staff review.
• Observe and support the supervised resolution of client inquiries.
• Learn from and shadow senior Banking Operations staff in a global department operating across Germany, Switzerland, and Singapore.

Requirements

• Economics studies, preferably at university level with a focus on Finance.
• Proactive approach to a highly challenging, fast-paced, and complex environment.
• Good communication and organization skills.
• Good team-player abilities and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn.
• English language skills.

Nice to have

• Know-how in the Corporate Actions area, including theoretical knowledge.
• Knowledge of additional languages, preferably German or French.
