Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Security Service Edge

Location: Remote, USA; associated with Clanton, Alabama, United States of America.

Salary: $97,100–$161,800 annual (USD), with the applicable range varying by location.

What you will do

• Design components of moderately to highly complex security solutions aligned with cybersecurity objectives and organizational needs.
• Configure and develop controls for security tools, deploy security systems and code, and integrate them with existing infrastructure.
• Design and execute system and technology testing with cross-functional teams to verify reliability and effectiveness.
• Monitor and tune security systems, develop automated installation and configuration processes, and improve security operations and response.
• Partner with Cybersecurity and Technology teams and vendors on implementation, maintenance, support, and prioritized process improvements.
• Maintain risk, regulatory, audit, and internal control standards, escalating risk-related issues when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant work experience, or a combined minimum of 7 years of higher education and/or work experience instead of a degree.
• Intermediate understanding of security system development and infrastructure lifecycles, architecture, and systems design.
• Proven experience using tools relevant to the assigned Cybersecurity function.
• Experience translating architecture into technical requirements.
• Proficient critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with leaders to execute results and seeking buy-in to align processes.
• Ability to analyze quantitative data from multiple sources and draw conclusions.
