Sr. Product Manager, Private Cloud

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office in Spring, Texas, or San Jose, California, United States.

Salary: Annual base salary of USD 120,500–276,500 in Texas or USD 136,500–276,500 in California. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end strategy and operational product roadmap for one or more private cloud products.
• Define value propositions, target customer segments, and business cases for innovative products within the broader portfolio.
• Translate market requirements into customer and marketing details using customer, business, financial, and industry knowledge.
• Advise stakeholders on portfolio strategy across planning, development, launch, management, and end-of-life stages.
• Align engineering, supply chain, marketing, and other value-chain partners to optimize margins and deliver product plans.
• Create product financial performance metrics, provide technical training, and mentor teams on complex projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of work experience in a related field.
• Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry.
• Expert team skills and the ability to drive and influence cross-functional work through others.
• Ability to mentor and lead teams delivering complex, ambiguous projects.
• Expertise in cost-efficient solution building and financial performance metric creation and analysis.
• Expert business acumen, root cause analysis, and problem detection skills.
• Ability to provide product-specific technical training to the team.
