Software Developer (.NET)

Location: United States — remote from any location; travel of 10% or less may be required. Headquarters: Cambridge, Massachusetts.

What you will do

• Build knowledge of the existing SaaS applications and contribute to next-generation products.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and develop application features using Scrum and other Agile methodologies.
• Maintain existing applications and provide Tier 2/3 customer support to resolve customer issues.
• Analyze complex problems and develop straightforward, readable solutions using appropriate design patterns.
• Own significant application features or areas, drive work through completion, and share technical and domain knowledge with colleagues.
• Monitor technical trends and advise the team on relevant methods and technologies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of development experience in full-stack web development.
• Experience with SQL databases; Microsoft SQL Server experience is preferred.
• Experience with front-end frameworks; ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core experience is preferred.
• Object-oriented programming experience; C# experience is preferred.
• Experience with git-based source control.
• Experience with .NET Blazor and Razor.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all members of product and development teams.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and an entrepreneurial, energetic, and optimistic attitude.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core, and C#.
