QA Specialist with German

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; office-based at 59 G.M. Dimitrov, NV Tower, Floor 12.

What you will do

• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation based on project and business requirements.
• Assess testability, define acceptance criteria, and contribute to quality assurance strategies.
• Design, execute, and document manual software tests, and support or perform automated testing activities.
• Analyze, document, and track defects while maintaining traceability throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Evaluate test results, report on software quality and release readiness, and maintain user-facing and testing-related documentation.
• Collaborate with customers, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders on test requirements, results, release planning, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience in software quality assurance and testing, focused on manual testing, test automation, or both.
• Good understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly while actively collaborating as a team member.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in dynamic project environments and adapting to changing priorities.
• Fluent German language skills, written and spoken, are mandatory.
• Good English language skills are required for collaboration in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience with or understanding of accessibility testing.
• Experience with AI testing tools.
• Experience testing applications in CI/CD environments.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of API, integration, or end-to-end testing.
• ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
• Experience working on international client projects.
