TL QC Engineer (Manual QA)

What you will do

• Define test plans, test cases, scenarios, scope, priorities, and realistic test data.
• Validate user stories, acceptance criteria, business logic, dependencies, and edge cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Track TEST, INT, and PREPROD environments, including deployments, availability, and downtime.
• Capture test evidence and manage defects, severity, priority, workflow, and traceability in Jira and Zephyr.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and support teams on requirements, reporting, and release quality.

Requirements

• Master’s-level university degree or equivalent and 10+ years of professional IT experience; degrees in any field are accepted.
• Strong experience in manual software testing and test planning.
• Strong knowledge of test design techniques and acceptance criteria validation, including equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, and static and dynamic testing.
• Experience with Jira and Zephyr for test and defect management.
• Experience with SoapUI for API testing.
• Strong SQL skills, including Oracle SQL Developer and complex queries for backend validation and test data preparation.
• Experience analyzing application logs with Kibana and working with XML and structured data using XML Notepad, Notepad++, or similar tools.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to troubleshoot across application, API, database, and log layers.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT or Generative AI for test case optimization, plus strong documentation, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• English or French proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), ISTQB Agile Tester, or ISTQB Mobile Application Tester certification.
