Consolidation & Statutory Reporting Specialist (Italian Speaking)

Location: Hybrid from Chiasso, Switzerland, or full remote from Romania or Spain. Very limited travel is required.

What you will do

• Prepare, reconcile, analyse, and support the release of monthly consolidated balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow, equity, capital expenditure, and intercompany statements under IFRS.
• Execute consolidation adjustments, intercompany calculations under transfer pricing policies, net financial position reconciliations, and accounting for key personnel long-term incentive plans.
• Review local finance reporting packages in Tagetik, support IAS 36 impairment testing, and prepare interim and annual disclosures.
• Draft IFRS accounting memoranda, prepare management and external presentation materials, and support forecasts and financial modelling.
• Develop and maintain Tagetik reports, internal financial reporting controls, procedures, reporting guidelines, and the Group Chart of Accounts.
• Work with auditors, consultants, local finance teams, Tax, and Corporate Planning & Reporting on consolidation, statutory, and reporting matters.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in accounting or finance.
• At least three years of experience in technical accounting and financial reporting, with deep IFRS knowledge, gained in a large multinational group or an audit or consultancy firm.
• Deep knowledge of consolidation rules and techniques.
• Professional-level written and spoken English.
• Practical fluency with AI tools such as Claude, alongside the critical judgment to verify AI outputs.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including lookups and pivot tables, and confidence working with large data volumes.
• Solid working knowledge of Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets.
• Proactive organisation, clear communication, teamwork, cross-cultural collaboration, adaptability, and composure under pressure.
• Legal authorisation to work in the country of employment without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Audit experience in a Big 4 firm.
• Working knowledge of Tagetik or a comparable consolidation and reporting system.
