Senior Field Solutions Engineer (Robotics)

Location: On-site in Austin, Texas, with regular travel within the United States and work at customer sites.

What you will do

• Own robotic solution concepts from detailed design through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support at the Austin facility and customer locations.
• Lead technical deployment, commissioning, and integration of robotic automation systems into existing production environments.
• Coordinate engineering, design, assembly, testing, operations, and field teams during deployments, including priorities, ownership, accountability, and schedule alignment.
• Plan and document customer projects, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, mitigation plans, deployment plans, and action tracking.
• Design and improve scalable operational processes, tools, mechanisms, and workflows across multiple deployments.
• Understand customer needs, provide on-site troubleshooting and training, create technical documentation, and share feedback with hardware and software teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience deploying large autonomous systems.
• Ability to independently lead complex projects end-to-end, owning execution, delivery, and outcomes without oversight.
• Highly autonomous leadership style with the ability to identify and resolve obstacles, drive decisions, and escalate only critical business risks.
• Strong leadership presence, operational decision-making, accountability, team coordination, and execution standards in fast-paced deployment environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and customers.
• Structured communication and strong technical documentation skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly within the United States.
• Fluent English.
