Electrical Engineer Co-Op (Robotics)

Location: Waltham Office, United States; must be eligible to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $30–$35 per hour.

What you will do

• Work with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to design and support complex robotic systems.
• Assist with designing, prototyping, and testing circuit boards and electromechanical subassemblies.
• Troubleshoot electrical and systems problems and identify their root causes.

Requirements

• Actively pursue a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
• Understand electrical schematics and circuit fundamentals.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have experience with Python or MATLAB.
• Have hands-on experience with electronics and laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and soldering equipment.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout software.
• Experience with microcontrollers.
• Experience with power electronics, including switching converters and motor drives.
