Full-Stack Software Engineer III (Metadata)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week from the assigned office, focused on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of new metadata platform components from the ground up.
• Collaborate with partner teams and domain architects on system design and service integration.
• Design and implement scalable services focused on reliability, observability, operability, and efficiency.
• Work with Kubernetes, Docker, BigTable, Elasticsearch, Spark, and Istio.
• Help define the platform vision and feature roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers and strengthen engineering processes, principles, learning, continuous improvement, and blameless retrospectives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and one modern JavaScript framework: React or Vue.
• Strong HTML/CSS knowledge, including responsive UIs, state management, accessibility, performance, and security basics.
• Backend coding experience with Node.js is required.
• Understanding of scalability and observability practices.
• Ability to design, build, and deploy high-quality software.
• Experience mentoring and coaching engineers and providing technical feedback.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying and operating microservices in a cloud environment.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Azure.
