Full Stack Developer (AI Security)

Location: Hybrid, with required ability to work from an office in Ghent, Belgium; Warsaw, Poland; or Chicago, United States.

What you will do

• Build the core of Noon from an early stage as part of the product team.
• Write modular, testable, and efficient code using TypeScript, Node.js with Fastify, and React.
• Build and maintain APIs, data models, and PostgreSQL-backed services.
• Design and implement high-availability applications based on scalable architecture principles.
• Discover, plan, implement, document, and maintain new features.
• Work with asynchronous programming, optimize code for speed, and tackle complex problems such as parsing.

Requirements

• Medior to senior-level experience and the ability to contribute effectively in a fast-moving environment.
• Comfortable working with Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
• SQL experience; deep PostgreSQL expertise is not required.
• Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Strong problem-solving skills, fast learning ability, and adaptability.
• Ability to contribute to architectural and impactful product decisions.
• Willingness to learn new languages when required by the product.
• Comfort researching and tackling hard problems and algorithms, including parsing.
• Willingness to experiment and discard code when necessary.
• Comfort working in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
• Fluent English.
• Ability to work from the Ghent, Warsaw, or Chicago office.

Nice to have

• Rust or Go experience.
• Technical knowledge of email, EDR, or malware.
