Experienced Aerodynamic Performance Engineer (m/f)

What you will do

• Lead aerodynamic performance modeling campaigns using CFD and flight tests through aircraft certification.
• Coordinate technical deliverables across aerodynamics disciplines and align with project stakeholders.
• Develop aerodynamic performance prediction methods for future aircraft concepts and configurations.
• Improve aircraft models using flight-test data and high-fidelity CFD simulations.
• Apply machine learning and AI methods to accelerate aerodynamic trade studies and design iterations.

Requirements

• Background in Aeronautical Engineering or an equivalent qualification, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Technical experience in aerodynamic modeling, flight mechanics, and CFD methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Leadership experience with decision-making, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel for business.
• Eligibility to obtain relevant security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience in data science and machine learning or AI.
• French language skills.
