Analyst Career Programs (Commercial Banking)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio, United States; onsite at 200 Public Square. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $77,500 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and location; incentive compensation and a discretionary bonus may also be available.

What you will do

• Complete classroom training in accounting, finance, credit analysis, business writing, financial modeling, and relevant computer skills.
• Gain practical experience with lending groups across general commercial banking, commercial real estate, health care, construction and engineering, security alarm, private banking, and for-profit education.
• Underwrite credit transactions across all lines of business and prepare credit requests.
• Analyze financial information, financial statements, and risks associated with commercial loans.
• Support relationship managers and assist with risk management and product initiatives.
• Develop knowledge of financing, treasury management, private banking, foreign exchange, derivatives, sales, negotiation, and professional branding.

Requirements

• College degree required, including at least two accounting classes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word required.
• Detail-oriented with critical thinking, writing, analytical, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within teams.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to clients, employees, and the communities served.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, initiative, adaptability, and the ability to deliver results.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.

Nice to have

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
• Analytical skills and spreadsheet experience with a spreading software program such as Moody's.
