WE’RE HIRING | Senior Product Design Engineer – Design + Frontend Engineer

Are you a designer who can also build production-ready frontend experiences? This role is for someone who wants to design and code in the same motion—creating AI-native interfaces, owning interaction details and turning concepts directly into shipped products.

What You’ll Work On:
• Design and build UI directly in code, prototyping novel AI-native interactions without a traditional Figma-to-handoff process.
• Work closely with a Product Manager and Engineering Lead to take features from concept through production.
• Own interaction and motion details including loading states, streaming states, transitions and micro-interactions.
• Build and maintain shared UI components that enable consistent and scalable product development.
• Work directly in the production codebase and contribute production-ready frontend code.
• Own the design system across components, patterns and implementation.
• Define how design work translates into production interfaces across the organization.
• Establish standards and guardrails to ensure AI-generated code is efficient, maintainable and production-ready.
• Help designers bridge the gap between design concepts and frontend-ready implementation.
• Contribute to code reviews and maintain high standards for UI quality and engineering practices.

What We’re Looking For:
Candidates with 4–8 years of experience who are equally comfortable thinking through product design and writing frontend code.

You should have strong experience with React, design systems, interaction design and prototyping, with the ability to work directly in a production codebase. Experience designing B2B SaaS products and AI-native interfaces will be highly relevant.

Work Model:
Currently remote, transitioning to 3 days per week in the Bengaluru office from December onwards.

Hiring Window:
The hiring process is expected to run for approximately 8 weeks, with the goal of finalizing the position by mid-November.
