Senior Manager, Economic Crime Prevention, Crown Dependencies

Location: Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man or UK, with some travel across the Crown Dependencies; full-time hybrid working in accordance with business requirements and applicable working policies.

What you will do

• Lead Economic Crime Prevention activity across the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey businesses.
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for controls covering money laundering, terrorist financing, proliferation financing, sanctions, bribery and corruption, fraud and other financial-crime risks.
• Design, implement, govern and evidence Economic Crime Prevention arrangements across three jurisdictions.
• Translate Group policy, legal requirements and compliance standards into effective local frameworks, governance and controls.
• Build relationships with senior collaborators and second-line and third-line risk and compliance functions, supporting effective risk management and decision-making.
• Lead a multidisciplinary function and modernise capabilities through simplification, automation, digitalisation and responsible use of data and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a top consultancy firm or financial-services organisation, centred on regulated financial services.
• Deep regulatory expertise, structured problem-solving, technology fluency and executive influence.
• Strong knowledge of the financial-services regulatory environments in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man, including the ability to interpret international standards and emerging regulatory developments.
• Proven experience leading complex regulatory change, remediation and transformation across multiple legal entities or jurisdictions, translating requirements into practical governance, controls and sustainable solutions.
• Strong analytical and commercial judgement, with the ability to assess risk and opportunity and develop pragmatic, evidence-based recommendations.
• Credible communication and influencing skills with senior leaders, boards, regulators and other key collaborators.
• Experience leading complex, multi-year programmes with clear outcomes, governance, achievements, dependencies and success measures.
• Strong understanding of data, AI, automation, cyber and technology risk, operational resilience, digital assets and emerging financial-crime risks within regulated financial services.
