IAM Engineer III, Identity & Access Management (SailPoint)

Location: Plantation, Florida, United States; available in multiple locations

Base salary: $118,500–$189,500 per year

What you will do

• Own IAM projects end to end, from defining the problem and baseline metrics through design, implementation, rollout, and outcome measurement.
• Modernize joiner, mover, leaver, and contractor lifecycle processes, including timely account provisioning and access removal.
• Design and implement SailPoint Identity Security Cloud lifecycle, provisioning, correlation, connectors, transforms, workflows, and roles.
• Automate recurring access requests, tickets, incidents, and review findings through self-service and rule-based access.
• Partner with Okta experts on application access, lifecycle, and provisioning patterns, while managing technical debt and leading root-cause analysis.
• Govern service accounts, workload identities, and AI agents; mentor IAM Engineer I and II staff and participate in the on-call rotation for critical identity services.

Requirements

• Senior individual-contributor experience owning IAM projects and leading technical design and implementation.
• Experience designing identity lifecycle, provisioning, access governance, workflows, connectors, transforms, and roles.
• Ability to automate manual IAM work while preserving appropriate human approvals and audit evidence.
• Experience with root-cause analysis, safe change practices, testing, staged rollouts, rollback procedures, and technical debt prioritization.
• Ability to mentor IAM engineers through design reviews and pairing.

Nice to have

• SailPoint ISC certification, such as ISC Engineer, and/or Okta Certified Professional or Administrator certification.
• Experience building AI-assisted automation or agent-based workflows with human approval steps and audit-ready evidence.
• Experience governing non-human identities, including service accounts, workload identities, or AI agent credentials.
• Experience with HR-driven lifecycle management using Workday as the source of truth and birthright role design at scale.
• Experience integrating identity with ServiceNow catalogs and request flows.
• Background in audit and control evidence, certifications, separation of duties, and least privilege.
