Senior Manager, IAM Security Operations (Hybrid - Seattle)

Location: Hybrid in Seattle, WA, US; must work at the hirify.global corporate headquarters a minimum of 4 days per week.

Salary: $191,000–$297,000 annual, with possible performance-based incentives or bonuses.

What you will do

• Own the Identity Security Operations function, including the health, reliability, security posture, service delivery, operating model, roadmap, staffing plan, and budget.
• Lead and grow a multilayered organization of leads, engineers, analysts, onshore and offshore staff, and managed-service resources.
• Drive identity modernization, including workforce identity provider consolidation onto Microsoft Entra ID, retirement of on-premises Active Directory, passwordless and phishing-resistant MFA, and modernized identity governance.
• Run enterprise-scale operations covering SLAs, KPIs, service health, executive reporting, major incident command, problem management, change governance, and post-incident remediation.
• Own joiner-mover-leaver processes, provisioning and deprovisioning, MFA operations, access certification campaigns, privileged access operations, vendors, managed services, licensing, contracts, and renewals.
• Partner with Identity Engineering & Build to define transition-to-operations standards and represent identity operations in audit, regulatory, compliance, and executive engagements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in identity and access management or information security operations, including 7+ years leading teams and at least 5 years leading leaders or owning a function.
• Significant senior leadership experience in identity security operations, including responsibility for teams, leaders, a function, or a major operational portfolio.
• Enterprise-scale operational ownership of an identity provider such as Microsoft Entra ID and/or Okta, directory services including Active Directory, IGA including SailPoint, and PAM including BeyondTrust; substantial depth in several platforms and leadership accountability across the full stack.
• Technical command of SSO, MFA, SAML, OIDC, OAuth, Conditional Access, and identity lifecycle management.
• Experience running enterprise-scale operations with SLA ownership, major incident command, and ITIL-aligned problem and change management.
• Experience owning budgets, headcount planning, and vendor or managed-service relationships.
• Ability to build and retain high-performing teams and communicate credibly with engineers and executive leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience leading identity operations through a major platform migration or consolidation, such as an identity provider migration or directory retirement.
• Retail experience or experience in another large, distributed, high-transaction-volume enterprise.
• Experience as an accountable owner in SOX or PCI-DSS audit and compliance programs.
• Experience leading globally distributed and managed-service delivery teams.
• Depth in passwordless authentication, FIDO2, Zero Trust operational patterns, and identity threat detection and response.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SC-300, or ITIL.
