Engineer III, Global Technology - Identity and Access Management (AI)

Location: On-site in the greater Seattle, WA area; candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Available locations include Downtown Seattle, Federal Way, Lynnwood, and Bellevue (Factoria). Relocation assistance is not offered. Applicants must be eligible to work lawfully in the U.S. immediately.

Base salary: $124,000–$186,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise identity and access management solutions.
• Automate identity-management processes using PowerShell, APIs, Java, AI, and other development tools.
• Develop and support SSO, MFA, conditional access, passwordless authentication, provisioning, federation, and directory services.
• Build role-based and attribute-based access controls and integrate enterprise applications with IAM platforms.
• Lead design sessions, communicate technical recommendations and tradeoffs, and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Support incident response, access certifications, entitlement reviews, privileged-access assessments, and IAM modernization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in a technical IAM engineering position.
• Experience designing, implementing, supporting, and administering enterprise IAM solutions such as SailPoint IdentityIQ, SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, Auth0, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience creating complex applications, data integrations, and automated provisioning processes.
• Working knowledge of least privilege, separation of duties, access governance, security, and compliance principles.
• Experience contributing to technical design discussions and solution architecture decisions, supporting production systems, and participating in operational support.
• Experience collaborating across teams to deliver technology solutions and business outcomes.
• Experience with agile delivery practices, source control, testing methodologies, and modern engineering workflows.
• Experience with Agentic AI development processes and practices.

Nice to have

• Experience building applications and APIs.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, SailPoint certification, CISSP, or CISM.
