Senior Compliance Associate (Fintech)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $83.4K–$166.8K annual base salary, excluding bonus, equity, wellness allowance, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Support the Broker Dealer compliance and risk assessment programs, including compliance testing, monitoring, surveillance, and regulatory adherence.
• Oversee and remediate daily KYC, CIP, suitability, PEP, and sanctions flags while identifying policy and procedural improvements.
• Maintain written supervisory procedures, surveillance and testing programs, employee education programs, and related remediation processes.
• Monitor reporting, escalation, complaint handling, issue remediation, and recurring compliance reporting.
• Review marketing, sales, and social communications; manage electronic communications surveillance and retention of required written communications.
• Support onboarding, regulatory examinations, audits, inquiries, annual requirements, and compliance enhancements driven by regulatory or business changes.

Requirements

• Series 7 and Series 24 qualifications, with the ability to obtain additional qualifications quickly.
• At least 5 years of experience in a retail fintech Broker Dealer compliance department and working with regulators.
• Comprehensive understanding of applicable laws, regulations, requirements, and industry practices.
• Previous experience implementing a Broker Dealer compliance program.
• Strategic and intuitive thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to make difficult decisions.
• Ability to negotiate, collaborate, adapt to change, accept challenging assignments, work independently, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
